Why Join CLARiTI?
Brain diseases, like Alzheimer’s and other dementias, can affect everyone. By joining CLARiTI, you can help us find better ways to prevent and better treat diseases that affect brain health. We cannot do this without you - please consider joining us to make an impact and be a part of groundbreaking brain health discoveries.
Who Can Join CLARiTI?
Everyone is unique and so is their brain, which is why we need a wide range of people to participate. We are looking for:
- Adults aged 50 or older
- People with no health or memory concerns
- People with mild memory issues
- People living with dementia
- People currently enrolled in an Alzheimer's Disease Research Center
- People not currently enrolled in an Alzheimer's Disease Research Center but who are interested in enrolling
*Consult with your local ADRC to learn more about specific participation requirements.

What Will I Need To Do?
If you choose to join, you will have brain imaging (pictures) and blood drawn. Brain imaging used in CLARiTI includes Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) scans. CLARiTI participants will complete project activities when they first enroll in the project and again about two years later. By comparing the results from these two times, we can see changes in brain health. If you join, you will complete CLARiTI project tasks (e.g. blood draw, brain imaging) at the Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center closest to you. Note that you will not receive any medicine or treatments in this project.
